THE CONSECRATION OF THE NEW

October 24, 2025
Tenerife Auditorium
Symphony Hall
7:30 p.m.

 Hours

Two works that not only broke new ground but also redefined the course of music, plus a world premiere.

In The Sea, Debussy transforms the orchestra into a living ocean of colors and transparencies, opening the door to a new world of free and sensual sounds. With The Rite of Spring, Stravinsky takes that revolution even further: its rhythmic brutality, its primitive violence, and its uncompromising energy forever change the perception of orchestral music.

In addition to these historic milestones, the program features the premiere of the new work by Ferran Cruixent, *Emergence (Finding La Mer)*, a composer who draws on the visionary spirit of his predecessors to explore the sonic possibilities of the 21st century.

Under the baton of Pablo González, the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra takes the audience on a dazzling journey: from the whisper of water to the ritualistic roar of the earth.
