Tales, chamber... action is the educational proposal of Sinfónica de Tenerife for the youngest audiences of the island that began today [Wednesday 13] in the Auditorium's Chamber Hall and will gather 2,300 schoolchildren from 33 educational centers in six sessions. The activity will conclude on Saturday [16th] with two family concerts, which will begin at 11:00 a.m. for children under 3 years old and from 12:30 p.m. for those over 3 years old. In both cases, tickets are already sold out.

This new didactic concert will evoke five musical stories interpreted by their respective soloists, the musical ensemble will be formed by Irina Peña (violin), Sviatoslav Belonogov (viola), Raúl Mirás (cello), Iker Sánchez (double bass) and Victoria Carlisle (harp).

With the exception of the musical tale El toro Ferdinando by Alan Ridout for violin, the other four narrations have been created especially for this program from pieces selected by the soloists of the Sinfónica de Tenerife. Thus, the program includes the scores Pastorale und Gavotte by H. Ritter for viola, Alone by G. Sollima for cello, Motivy by E. Tabakov for double bass and Fire Dance by D. Watkins for harp.

The voice of Ana Hernández Sanchíz and Francisco Javier Burón will thread this proposal where these instruments will be presented through the stories that emerge from some very peculiar animals linked to the character of the musical tools themselves: snake, ant, dolphin, tiger and bull.

The performers will not be alone, as the children will be able to participate from their seats in the melodies through song, rhythm or dance, making it an interactive cultural event.
