ludovic morlot

An evening full of color and musical diversity under the direction of Ludovic Morlot.

The concert begins with Darius Milhaud's 'Ox on the Roof op. 58', a vibrant work influenced by Brazilian jazz and popular music, followed by Jacques Ibert's lyrical and virtuosic 'Flute Concerto', performed by the exceptional flutist Mathieu Dufour.
The evening concludes with the powerful 'Symphony No. 4 in E minor op. 98' by Johannes Brahms, one of the most profound and complex works in the symphonic repertoire, reflecting the composer's mastery of the symphonic form. This mixture of styles from the innovative and jazzy spirit of Milhaud and
jazz spirit of Milhaud and Ibert, to the German romanticism of Brahms, promises an unforgettable concert.
